Kitchen Sink Cookies

These cookies have it all! Peanut butter, oatmeal, coconut, chocolate chips, Reese’s, M&Ms, you name it! To mix it up, you can use individual candy-bar sized packages. The more you throw in, the more fun the cookies are. Here’s a chance to use your imagination. The cookies in the picture use ½ cup of coconut, Reese’s, M&Ms, and a cup of chocolate chips. Kids will love dumping in all the fun ingredients, almost as much as they’ll love eating them.

Maple Spice Pecans

Want a wonderful homemade gift that travels well, keeps well, and gets rave reviews? Here’s your recipe. They look great in a canning jar with a ribbon around it. These candied nuts melt in your mouth. If you put out a bowl of them, watch as people eat them. They’ll grab a couple, pop them in their mouth and start to walk away. Then the flavor hits, and they turn around a grab another handful. They then touch a friend’s arm and point to the bowl. You’ll be glad the recipe makes almost 2 lbs of treats when you have to keep refilling the bowl.

Giant White and Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

My son was away at Penn State (go LIONS!!!) for Halloween, and asked me if I could come up with a recipe to top his favorite candy. Although the instructions look complicated, it really doesn’t take much time to make them. Using a plastic bag instead of a pastry brush cuts down on the work. Making them large also helps, and I didn’t get any complaints about them being big!
